A full bill of materials will be created based on the designed digital twin and the system properties/preference provided. The generated bill of material is accessible via the ‘Results’ button on the system overview page.

You can edit the required quantity of all items except modules and inverters on the Bill of Materials page.

• Modules: these can not be updated on this page, you will need to edit your design to do so.
• Inverters: these are adjustable on the inverter page.
• Mounting materials: calculated automatically based on the selected modules, mounting system and layout.
• Monitoring hardware: based on selected monitoring type and number of inverters.
• Cables and connectors: these are based on assumptions, so will need to be checked against the actual design before ordering.

Note: The bill of materials is updated every time you save your system design, so avoid manual changes until you are happy with your design and ready to proceed to generating the quote. 

The materials returned on a quote are a combination of the automatic system BOM and the additional items.

When a quote is generated the item quantities may also be adjusted.

If you require any special items they will not be automatically added to the BOM;

• Power export limiting devices (PELD)
• Module Level Rapid Shutdown (MLRS)
• Short cables with MC4 connectors
• Special RCB’s, switches etc.

Additional Black cable is provided so that runback cables follow the module stringing to avoid induction loops.

Inverters are suggested based on the expected number of MPPT’s and expected maximum power of the system.
