Designing with Optimisers
Within the optimizers tab, you may add optimizers to a number of selected modules. Simply select the modules you want to provide with optimizers (see ‘Editing a layout’ for instructions) and click ‘Add optimizers’. The optimizers are indicated with a green circle on the selected modules, these are also shown when working on the string groups. With the ‘Remove optimizers’ button, you can remove optimizers from a selection of modules, with the ‘bin’ button, all optimizers within the installation area are removed at once.
Applying optimizers to a module will isolate that module’s performance from the other modules in its group. Using optimizers can result in higher expected yields, but will not heighten the guaranteed yield.
The increase in yield from optimizer use can be seen by going to Design -> Results from the System page.
Rules apply for how to string modules with optimizers, see: Tigo optimizer design rules
