Batteries

The Battery terminal layout is shown in the following figure:

When establishing a connection between your Weco battery and Autarco inverters, the communication ports on the BMS side are configured as follows:

CAN cable pin out for Inverter to WECO Battery connection

RJ45 port corresponding to the CAN bus pin definition

Cabling for Weco-batteries:

With each battery (5K3-LV-HV) you will get:

  • 1 battery cable 25 mm2 orange/black connector; 10 cm long for interconnecting each battery
  • 1 x short blue interconnection Ethernet cable.

All the other cables are supplied with the HV-box (HV BOX XP):

For inter-connecting between HV-box and batteries:

  • 1 red battery cable 25 mm2 orange/orange connector 10 cm long (from the upper battery to HV-box)
  • 1 black battery cable 25 mm2 black/black connector 2m long (from bottom battery to HV-box)

For connecting to LH-inverter

  • 1 black battery power cable 10 mm2; 2.5m long (black connector on one side, purple Devalan connector other side)
  • 1 red battery power cable 10 mm2 ; 2.5m long (ORANGE connector on one side, purple Devalan connector other side)

You must remove the Devalan connectors at the LH side and replace them with the Phoenix connectors that are in the box of LH-inverter.

ATTENTION!

A circuit breaker or DC switch, not included, is recommended or mandatory according to local regulations to separate the battery circuit from the inverter. DC fuses can be used for this purpose and/or whenever the power cables must be extended due to the distance between the inverter and the batteries. A set of two Battery power cables for extension purposes are included in the “Wall Mounting kit”. Following figure illustrates such a case.

If you are linking a Dyness Battery Tower with an Autarco inverter, here are the communication port specifications on the BMS side:

BMS interface:

1: Power/ Wake up button

2: Battery connection positive

3: CAN Communication port

4: Battery connection negative

5: Power on/off switch

Pin definition for CAN communication:

The Dyness battery does not need extra cables. The interconnection is realized by clicking connectors between batteries and the BMS.
