Check validation of the inverter warranty

Autarco conducts inverter replacement when items are within the product warranty.  

  • If inverters are within product warranty, please follow How to return a defective item below and return items. 
  • If inverters are out of warranty, you can buy new products via Helios.

How to return a defective item

Raise a case for the defective item by following the steps in “How to raise a case

Notice, please report the return item serial number and/or item name in the case created. 

The Support department will review and confirm the raised case. 

We will email you about the return with a return number (RANL number) and an attached document containing relevant information for the return. 

After you receive the email about the return, the defective item should be returned to the Autarco Warehouse within 45 days of receiving the return number (RANL number)

Notice, the received return number (RANL number) and attached documentation in the email should be included in the shipment.

Our support department will create a Replacement Sales Order with a replacement number (SONL number), and they will send you a confirmation email regarding this Replacement Sales Order.

After you receive the confirmation email and SONL number of the replacement, please contact the Planning department by email (planning@autarco.com) to confirm the preferred delivery date and delivery address for the replacement item.

After we receive returned items, our Support department will investigate products to determine whether they are defective.

The Support team aims to test the returned item within 14 days of receiving it. 

The testing process can have the following outcomes:

  • The item is not defective:  The item will be returned to you, and the Replacement Sales Order (SONL number) will be invoiced. You will receive an email with an attached investigation report and a new Replacement Sales Order number for this item. Our Planning department will arrange the return of this non-defective item.
  • The item is defective and under warranty: The defective item will not be returned to you. The Replacement Sales Order will not be invoiced, as it is under warranty.
  • The Autarco Dealer is responsible for the shipping cost of sending the defective item back to the warehouse.
  • Autarco is responsible for the shipping cost of sending the replacement item.
  • If the defective item is not yet received after 45 days, the Replacement Sales Order will be invoiced regardless of the testing outcome.
