Digital Twin: MPPT Down

The monitoring data is not matching expectation based on the string plan of the digital twin.

For each input we can determine an expected voltage and current range based on the digital twin and current climate data collected via satellite.

The actual data is not meeting our expectation.

Possible causes are;

  • The string plan is not correct.
  • A PELD Device has been actively limiting the inverter
  • Bad Connections
  • MPPT Failure

  1. Double check the string plan is correct.
  2. Check all connections at the inverter.
  3. Measure DC voltages on site.
  4. Move strings to another MPPT to verify if there is a problem with the MPPT measurement components.

This is a Digital Twin driven issue.

Issue Creation

Voltages do not match the expected input voltage per MPPT for the preceeding day.

Resolution:

The input voltage per MPPT return to being back in line with the current string plan.
