What is the difference between a quote and an offer in Helios?

In Helios;

  • Quotes are transactions between Autarco and the Dealer (you). Typically for materials and services.
  • Offers are transactions between the Dealer (you) and the End Customer (Your customer). Typically for the materials you buy from us plus your administrative and installation costs.

In order to create a quote you will have to go back to the relevant Project page and click on the “Create quote” button. The materials generated from your PV system (module lay-out) and the additional products & services are converted into a quote.

All relevant information is shown:

  • Quotation number – unique code per quotation
  • Project reference
  • Delivery terms – EXW, DAP or DAP TIMED;
  • Delivery time – based on stock positions in the Autarco warehouse, this can be adjusted if necessary;
  • Invoicing – according to current payment terms
  • Status;
  • Creation and validation date of the quote
  • Whether and by whom the quotation has been accepted.

The screen has the following buttons and functions:

Go to project < >return to the project data;

Accept > by accepting the quotation, the order is confirmed and immediately processed in Autarco’s ERP system.

When you accept a quote in Helios you will be asked to confirm Delivery Details

PDF > summarizes the project data, product list, prices in PDF file. You can print and sign this form and send to sales-orders@autarco.com for processing.
